Are booth construction companies designated by CECO the only ones allowed to build booths for companies that signed up for Independent Booth?
Yes. Please refer to the “List of CECO designated Booth Construction Companies” on our website and select a company from the list.
Will I be able to block one side of the booth partition? or get rid of it?
Installation and dismantling of the booth partition is a structural concern. Therefore, regarding the installation and dismantling of the booth partition, you will have to check with the booth construction company that is in charge of building basic booths. Please note that extra charges, which are not part of the entry fee, might occur.
What if I would like to add a company logo or a trademark on the company sign board besides the company name?

When can we start using the Internet?
The Internet service will only be available to participating companies that made an early request for LAN construction service. Participating companies that have requested for LAN Ethernet cable service can setup their computers at where they have planned earlier. The Internet service company will give information on the IP Address while installing the service.
What can we prepare in order to prevent situations such as our item(s) on display getting lost due to reasons such as theft?
The Executive Office of Welding Korea 2016 will make its best effort to pay critical attention to the safeguard of all displayed items by providing security services in all areas of the exhibition during the preparation period, actual exhibition period, and dismantling of the exhibition. However, due to the exhibition hall being extremely busy and crowded, all participating companies should assign an employee or an agent to watch over and take care of their booths at all times.
Welding Korea 2016 does not take any responsibility on any lost items. The responsibility on any lost items will be on the participating company. Therefore, it is highly recommended that all valuables, high-priced items, and major items to be securely insured at all times in case of any accidents when transporting the items in and out of the exhibition hall during the preparation period, actual exhibition period, and dismantling of the exhibition. (Please take an extra special care of small appliances such as cameras, laptops, etc.)
How much electricity should be requested?
Electrical usage information are indicated on home appliances and this is the most accurate way of finding such information. In general, you can use up to one desktop computer with 1KW of electricity. If you need more than 1KW of electricity, you will have to request for extra electricity. Regarding your electricity request, it is suggested 5KW or less for refrigeration/freezer showcase, 2KW or less for flat screen TV, 1KW for water cooler/heater, and 1KW or more for all other small electric appliances.
When will electricity be available for use?
It is assumed that electricity will be available for use on the last day of the booth construction, which is on October 10th after 4pm. We are able to provide electricity after when all of the Independent Booths’ interior electrical construction and display item setups are completed. Due to safety reasons, if there is a single company that has not yet completed its electric related construction, we would not be able to provide electricity. Therefore, we kindly request companies using Independent Booths to speed up and complete their electric related construction as quickly as possible.
What else do participating companies have to prepare besides booth construction?
Participating companies would have to prepare items for display, display shelves, booth interior design, item catalogues, and business cards. If you need a table or a display shelf for your booth, please contact furniture/equipment company designated by Changwon Exhibition Convention Center (CECO). Please note that participating companies using Package Booth will have to pay “restoration fee,” if their booth panels are damaged due to attaching things on the booth walls through nailing, gluing, etc.
What is the difference between ‘Space Only’ and ‘Shell Scheme’?
Shell Scheme includes booth space with a basic show booth, which will be pre-constructed by the host of the exhibition. ‘Space Only’ includes raw space and the participating company will have to find its own booth installer to build its show booth. Shell Scheme will also include a triple wall partition, a company sign board, one set of desk and chair, Pytex flooring, and 1kw of electricity.
